# Lavafall development update — September 27, 2026

Development build from CI114, source revision 6afc108f80735447041ccc33ffee5e80ff7bdd68.

This update brings the accumulated playable-bot and multiplayer work to the public mine. It is not a versioned stable release.

- LimboAI-powered bots mine, carry resources home, build and repair access, and recover from blocked routes using native game rules.
- Engineers can place normal, ore-funded beacons at reachable surveyed veins and announce their real marker IDs to allied Miners.
- Improved mining, stairs, ladders, lava delivery, movement smoothing and multiplayer reconciliation.
- Live server discovery and human/bot population reporting.
- Safer dedicated-server maintenance drains, bounded bot telemetry, and a startup-selectable legacy controller fallback.

Original movement, mining costs, cash accounting and the 10,000-cash victory threshold are unchanged. The original-compatible HUD remains intact; the experimental extra radar labels are not included.

Bots remain an evolving part of Lavafall; validated maps do not establish reliability on every generated map. Windows and macOS downloads are not OS-signed or notarized.

Android is a debug-signed APK for sideloading. Private release signing and Play Store distribution are deferred to a later mainstream-release milestone.
